The first image of the
Taj Mahal is a great example of bilateral
symmetry. The building appears that it could be cut in half vertically down the center creating to identical images. Not only is the building
symmetric but the landscape around it as well.
The second image is an example of radial symmetry. The
image involves patterns that are all equal distance from the center creating to identical images if they were to be cut down the center
horizontally.
